“Young Star of Enterprise”
With this award, we'll recognise young people championing enterprise in all its forms. You could be running a student entrepreneur society; organising business events for other young people at your school or college; or working in your community to get others engaged with entrepreneurship. A new award for 2011 candidates should be 25 or under and should demonstrate the skills highlighted in the criteria below. The award works in a slightly differnet way to the others and in the following way:
1.The nominees name and entry submission (see submission requirements below) should be put forward using the Growing Business Awards nomination form. (Except you only need to submit a summary submission of 100 words!)
2.Once a shortlist is announced by the Growing Business Awards team, we will post the shortlisted candidates (along with a nice picture and your summary submission) onto the Real Business website, realbusiness.co.uk.
3. We'll then open up the polls and you'll be encouraged to invite all your family, friends and local community to vote for you. We'll also be tweeting and writing about the poll encouraging top entrepreneurs to cast their vote and decide who they'd like to win the title!
4.The winner will be decided by the largest number of votes cast. *
5.The winner's name will be announced at the Growing Business Awards on November 14, 2011 at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square.
* The Growing Business Awards may apply its own vetting rules if they believe any foul play has been used to support any nominees.

Importance of enterprising activity in your school, college, university, place of work or community
Greatest personal achievements in encouraging enterprise (please provide details)
Results achieved
Vision for the future in encouraging enterprise
