He has over 15 years’ experience in Investment management spanning across several strategies including Private Equity, Debt, Real estate and infrastructure, Venture and Growth capital across numerous jurisdictions globally, having worked at ARES, ICG, Valiance and Apax. Iain is a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and trained as an auditor with Deloitte

Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, BA (Hons) in Business Studies and Computing from the Leicester Business School and an MBA from Manchester Business School. James Yates

James Yates began his career at IK Partners in 2002 and currently works as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Partner responsible for Finance & Administration across the Firm. Since joining, James has played a pivotal role in setting up the various functions that sit within this team and continues to provide significant guidance around various aspects of reporting, valuations and legalities of the IK Funds and the Firm’s portfolio companies. James qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales as well as a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment.

Tony Lissaman

Tony joined 3i in 1998. He is a member of the Private Equity Leadership Team and 3i Investment Committee. His responsibilities include portfolio oversight, valuations, operations and the financial management of 3i’s international Private Equity business. Outside 3i, Tony is a member the International Private Equity Valuations (IPEV) Board; Invest Europe’s Professional Standards Committee; and the Private Equity Reporting Group (PERG), an independent body that reviews transparency and disclosures within the UK Private Equity industry.

Rebecca Boscott

Rebecca has over 20 years’ experience as CFO /COO of private equity and hedge fund management firms. During her career she has been responsible for managing relationships with service providers and understands the importance of good quality service provision. Having been CFO and COO over 7 years, Rebecca is now Head of Projects for Hanover Investors Management, managing new fund launches and deal execution. Previously, Rebecca co-founded Oxford & Cambridge Investment Management where she led the operations and finance functions until the business transferred to Bank Insinger de Beaufort. Rebecca remained with Insinger for two years heading operations for the OCIM business unit. Rebecca is a chartered accountant and a trustee of the FairLife charity.

Jackson Heddy

Jackson is Northzone’s CFO, and is based in London. Prior to joining Northzone, Jackson was Financial Controller at IP Group – a FTSE-listed Venture firm specialising in University spin-outs, and trained with PwC in their investment management assurance department. Jackson holds an ACA from the ICAEW, and an MA in Global Political Economy and a BSc in Nanotechnology, both from the University of Sussex.

Lorna Davies

Lorna has over 20 years experience in Financial Services, prior to her joining GHO as CFO in July 2017. Lorna started her career in the Banking and Capital Markets division of PWC, gaining her ACA and then moving on to roles at Terra Firma Capital Partners, RBS and Coller Capital. Her remit at GHO covers all of Fund Finance, Valuations, Transaction and tax structuring, Group Finance and all aspects of tax compliance.

Ashley Wassall

Ashley is Vice President and Head of Client Communications at Pantheon, covering all global communication activities for existing and prospective clients across the firm’s range of private markets investment strategies, with additional responsibility for managing Pantheon’s external profile and media relationships. Prior to joining Pantheon, Ashley worked as a Senior Writer in the Group Communications function at HSBC Group, before which he spent 10 years working as a financial and business journalist, including roles at private equity trade magazine Unquote, the Financial Times Group and The Week.

Merrick McKay

Merrick is responsible for abrdn’s European private equity business, with around €8bn AuM, encompassing primary fund commitments, secondary fund investments and co-investment activities undertaken by a European team of 25 investment professionals. Merrick is a member of abrdn’s European Private Equity Investment Committee, and has additional responsibility of managing a number of client relationships. An Australian with British dual-nationality, Merrick has nearly 30 years’ experience in the European private equity industry. Merrick holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of Queensland. He is a regular speaker at private equity conferences, and is a member of Invest Europe’s Limited Partner Council.

Mitesh Pabari

Mitesh is a Principal on Hamilton Lane’s Fund Investment Team, based in the firm’s London office, where he is responsible for all aspects of fund due diligence. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2010, Mitesh was an Associate in the investment team of Coller Capital, a global investor in the private equity secondaries market. Previously, he was an Equity Research Analyst at JP Morgan Cazenove focused on the UK small-mid cap sector, and an Associate in the Valuation Services team of KPMG Corporate Finance in London. Mitesh received a B.S. in International Management with American Business Studies from the University of Manchester, England.
