Martin Leuw
Martin served as Group CEO of IRIS Software from 2001-2011 and led its growth from revenues of £9m to over £120m p.a. During this period IRIS grew from an enterprise value of £30m to over £500m (through three PE backed MBOs) to become one of the UK’s largest private software houses, with market leading positions in a number of vertical sectors and circa 60,000 business customers. Prior to that, he was CEO of Medidesk, a healthcare internet business, on the Executive Policy Group of PPP Healthcare Group plc and Managing Director of Access 24, an award-winning Medical communications Centre, which he grew to become a leading provider of patient support and loyalty programmes to the pharmaceutical industry, as well as an advisor to the NHS.Martin has a BSc (Hons) in Management Science from Manchester University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen. In July 2006, Martin was named Entrepreneur of the Year in the Technology & Communication category in the Southern regional final of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year programme. In October 2009, he was awarded the new ICAEW Faculty prize at the Software Satisfaction Awards.Martin has been a regular judge for the prestigious Real Business "Business of the Year" awards, is a regular columnist for Real Business and the Daily Telegraph, as well as speaking engagements on entrepreneurship and business growth.
